As seen everywhere: sous vide in a beer cooler. Useful, but it unfortunately doesn't work for some of my favorite sous vide effects.

Because iPhone users shouldn't get all the fun: Android cooking applications. I'm thinking about picking up an Android-based phone (possibly the Droid Incredible... or the HTC EVO) soon, so I may well check some of these out.

Adjusting to my work schedule has disrupted both my cooking and blogging habits. I'm getting back into the swing of the first. We'll see about the second. I'm thinking you'll see some short posts for a little bit.
