About the Kitchenhacker Guides
The Kitchenhacker Guides are an attempt to catalog useful information about cooking in an easy-to-access manner. They include both original ideas and hints scoured from a wide variety of sources.
Why?
Digging through a book or hunting through a dozen websites for a time-saving tip is a self-defeating proposition.
Current Guide Categories
- Ingredients and Food: These guides will deal with specific meals, ingredients, or types of food (such as regional cuisines).
- Techniques: These guides will focus upon specific techniques for food preparation.
- Tools: These guides will look at the tools of the kitchen (as well as tools not intended for the kitchen that can be adapted for use therein...).
- Books: These guides will provide a peek into books that may be of interest, from cookbooks to chemistry books.
- Online Tools and Resources: I'll try to provide links and descriptions for useful programs and utilities across the Internet.
- Miscellaneous Kitchen Tips: Any kitchen tip that doesn't belong above will probably find its way here.
